The one you've been waiting for! The Cleo quilt is a showstopper, but how easy it is can be our secret. You can't go wrong with this beautiful oversized star. Recommended for confident beginners due to sewing on the bias for HST's, the Cleo uses yardage with fabric requirements in the photos. Pattern comes in two sizes, baby (35" x 35") and throw (70" x 70").
It was hard to pick sample photos because all my testers' quilts turned out so amazing (and so different from each other!) which is one thing I love about this pattern; it can have a bold and modern look like these tester versions by Anna Buettner (jewel throw) or Karen Brooks (baby blues), or a more traditional, down-to-earth vibe like the cover version or the one by tester Trine Davey of Lavender Sewing Patterns (green baby with top/bottom borders added based on the throw instructions).
3KQ's three inaugural quilt patterns (the Cleo, the Junie, and the Ethel) were all designed after the three kitties we take our name from and their unique personalities. The Cleo Quilt is named after our rescue tortoiseshell kitty, Cleocatra (last photo!). I believe pet ownership can be therapeutic and am indebted to the furry friends in my life. 10% of all proceeds from the Cleo pattern will go to the MEOW Foundation, the no-kill cat-only rescue we have worked with.
Pattern is a PDF download. A link to download will be emailed to you upon purchase.
